A native of New York whose parents were New York City schoolteachers, Giovanni Diaz has a special appreciation for cities’ under-served communities and both our natural and built environment. For nearly two decades, Giovanni has been involved in all aspects of  landscape design projects, including program and place visioning, community charrettes, designs and their presentations, contract documentation, project management, and principal leadership. Throughout his journey as a landscape architect which began on the ground with domestic landscape installations, Giovanni’s artistic vision has held onto the principles of progressive design through sustainable practices that elevate open space physical and social expectations. Giovanni’s dedication to landscape architecture has helped shape the visionary architectural firm formerly led by Lee Weintraub to grow to become one of today’s leading design firms in landscape architecture.
